Customs and Border Protection Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to protecting the nation's borders and enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.

• Enforce laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and international shipping to/from the US;


• Facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal entry of individuals/prohibited goods;


• Conduct inspections of individuals/conveyances using intelligence techniques/behavior analysis;


• Determine admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States;

The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with diverse cultural interactions. You must be able to think critically/make rapid decisions regarding law enforcement procedures.
The selected candidate will undergo rigorous training at FLETC in Glynco, GA (101 days), followed by on-the-job orientation/pre-academy training (two weeks). This comprehensive program covers basic law enforcement skills (firearms handling/cargo examination); physical fitness; etc. Successful completion is essential.
