DESCRIPTION: The Program Manager, Data & Analytics Operations plays a critical role in the Amazon Autos reporting and analytics function, orchestrating the flow of work from intake to delivery. They manage internal and external request pipelines, maintain healthy backlogs, and ensure priorities are aligned with business objectives.
In this role, they collaborate closely with the Head of Market Intelligence, Head of Analytics, technical program managers, data engineers, and business intelligence engineers to drive efficiency and accountability across the team. They own on-call mechanisms, ensuring issues are triaged and resolved promptly, and maintain high-quality external documentation for our B2B products-empowering customers to navigate and extract value from our data platform with ease.
Key job responsibilities Intake & Backlog Management - Manage internal and external intake processes for the reporting and analytics function - Maintain well-organized, prioritized backlogs aligned with business objectives - Triage incoming requests and ensure timely routing to appropriate teams - Track progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with the Head of Market Intelligence and Head of Analytics to align priorities and resource allocation - Coordinate with technical program managers to ensure seamless execution of cross-functional initiatives - Support data engineers and business intelligence engineers in delivering high-quality outputs on schedule - Facilitate communication and alignment across teams to remove blockers and drive efficiency
Operational Excellence - Own and manage on-call mechanisms to ensure rapid triage and resolution of issues - Develop and refine processes to improve workflow efficiency and accountability - Monitor key operational metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Documentation & Customer Enablement - Maintain comprehensive, high-quality external documentation for B2B products - Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to customers - Partner with product and engineering teams to document new features and updates
About the team Amazon Autos is a newly formed team with a vision to create innovative automotive sales, discovery, and purchasing experiences on Amazon.com. We, in partnership and collaboration with other experienced teams at Amazon, are redefining the future of how sellers and consumers can shop for cars online. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 3+ years of team management experience - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience - 3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization - Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
