About
We are seeking a dedicated Receiving Clerk for our Miami, Florida operations. This role is crucial to our logistics network, serving as the primary point for incoming shipments. You will be responsible for accurately unloading merchandise, verifying deliveries against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and processing received goods into our inventory system. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that inventory is accurately recorded and ready for distribution. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from delivery vehicles.
- Verify the accuracy of received shipments against invoices and purchase orders.
- Inspect all incoming goods for damage or defects.
- Record received inventory accurately into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Tag and prepare items for storage or further processing.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or short shipments to management.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse receiving role is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety vests and footwear.
