This position is vital for efficient logistics management, ensuring that our inventory levels are precise and readily available. You will be responsible for conducting physical counts, reconciling inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with cycle counting processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong analytical skills. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that inventory data is up-to-date and reflects the actual stock on hand. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Reconcile inventory records with physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) accurately.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper stocking.
- Identify and report damaged or expired inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports for management.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with WMS software is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
