Join our bustling warehouse as a Picker/Packer in Washington, D.C.! This is a fast-paced role essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You'll be responsible for locating items, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring quality control. The role requires physical stamina, including significant lifting and standing throughout your shift. Your contribution is key to our logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. - Accurately pick products based on order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
- Safely pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure products arrive in excellent condition.
- Verify order details and shipping information.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals within our logistics framework.
- Perform tasks involving regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for prolonged periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Physical ability to handle the demands of the role, including lifting.
