Are you a motivated individual looking for an exciting opportunity in warehousing? We are hiring an Order Picker for our state-of-the-art facility in Jacksonville, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and prepare them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated locations in the warehouse using an order list or scanner.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned picking zones.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed individual picking performance targets and team goals.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as assigned.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues with orders or inventory to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanning technology is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 30 lbs frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory principles.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a consistent work schedule.
