Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations and staff.
- Ensure efficient workflow for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, including PPE compliance.
- Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions.
- Oversee proper lifting techniques and material handling processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics principles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
