About
We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in our Denver, Colorado distribution center. The Order Picker is responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is key to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are processed correctly and prepared for shipment in a timely manner. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, utilizing technology to enhance picking accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock using order sheets or scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely for safe transit, minimizing damage.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other moving equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capacity for Lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
