About
Seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Phoenix, Arizona facility. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and implementing procedures to minimize discrepancies. A solid understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management systems is key.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by analyzing data and locating misplaced items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor stock levels and identify items needing replenishment or adjustments.
- Track the movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring proper documentation.
- Ensure all storage locations are properly labeled and organized.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, logistics teams, and management to address inventory issues.
- Assist in the receiving and put-away processes to ensure correct item entry.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, accuracy, and movement for management review.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigating the warehouse.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Experience with cycle counting and physical inventory procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the proper use of PPE.
