In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of skilled system engineers tasked with managing both public cloud environments and co-located datacenters during our migration to the cloud. Your commitment to quality and innovation will push our automation and engineering capabilities forward, ensuring the delivery of high-performance applications that exceed customer expectations. What you will be doing: Build and nurture a diverse, high-performing team, empowering members to grow and excel in their technical skills amidst the evolving tech landscape.
Drive automation projects to align with design standards and best practices while leveraging cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Docker & Kubernetes.
Oversee incident management processes to minimize downtime and enhance service reliability.
Prepare and present analytics reports on team performance, project milestones, and operational metrics to stakeholders.
Establish robust practices for security, performance, and infrastructure scaling within production environments.
Provide technical leadership in developing automation using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible to optimize system administration tasks.
Collaborate closely with CyberSecurity to implement essential safeguards against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.
Facilitate clear communication among team members and across departments.
Participate in financial planning and resource management, assessing new technologies and solutions for efficiency enhancements.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, applying insights to optimize organizational practices.
Monitor infrastructure performance and analyze metrics to identify improvement areas.
Focus on the continuous performance management of your team.
What we hope you bring: Over 10 years of engineering experience with a solid foundation in systems and infrastructure management.
At least 5 years in a managerial role, focused on cloud infrastructure management.
Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
Hands-on experience in building the infrastructure for enterprise software development lifecycle, experience with scripting, and setting up build/deploy workflows.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Experience working with large, geographically dispersed teams is a plus.
Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.

Willingness to work flexible hours based on business needs; availability for production-impacting incidents around the clock.
Preferred background in utilizing AI to automate and maintain production environments.
