Position Overview We are looking for a talented AI/Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team. Job Responsibilities: Effectively communicate the benefits of AI-powered solutions to achieve value-driven business results. Design comprehensive AI solutions incorporating various technologies and present them convincingly. Serve as a subject matter expert on AI advancements, contributing to key initiatives. Prepare and deliver engaging presentations that illustrate technology based on user feedback. Lead efforts in the creation and management of AI/ML infrastructure, both on-premise and in the cloud. Collaborate with R&D Data Sciences teams to analyze data and optimize processes. Facilitate the automation of AI infrastructures for testing and deployment. Support in building AI models and assist stakeholders with implementation strategies. Convert machine learning models into APIs for integration with applications in Azure. Work collaboratively across departments to promote best practices in AI/ML adoption. Optimize resource use and enforce cost-effective measures. Provide technical support for AI/ML inquiries from team members. Develop comprehensive documentation for AI/ML architectures and training materials. Manage defect resolution processes effectively. Support ongoing Continual Improvement and Enhancement activities. Maintain open communication with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical staff. Contribute to the development and optimization of training materials across the organization. Conduct technical meetings to discuss progress, document outcomes, and report on project statuses. Follow operational policies to ensure consistent solutions and performance evaluation against established goals. Act as the primary subject matter expert on AI/ML to support digital transformation initiatives. Ensure compliance standards by managing all required documentation and records effectively. Required Skills/Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, AI, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years applying AI solutions like Agents, LLMs, and machine learning. At least 3 years of experience in an information technology role. Experience in the life sciences or biopharma industries is preferred. Understanding of cloud architecture, data security, and integration standards. Proficient in networking protocols and server infrastructure management. Strong programming skills in languages including Python, Perl, Bash, Java, C++, C#, and PowerShell. Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub. Excellent training and presentation skills, able to convey complex concepts effectively. Ability to analyze data and identify trends to drive business decisions. Developed project management skills. Experience in the pharma or medical device sectors is a plus. Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Salary and Benefits: The base salary range for this position in California is $82,353 - $107,363 annually.
