About
The *Manager of Network Engineering* is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and performance of the client’s *fiber and network infrastructure*, combining technical expertise with strategic leadership. This role oversees a team of engineers and drives innovation through technologies such as *SRv6, BGP-LS, MPLS, and PON*, ensuring a scalable, secure, and high-performing network architecture that supports enterprise and residential services. The manager develops and executes long-term network strategies aligned with business objectives, oversees budgeting, CapEx, and vendor management, and enforces engineering best practices, security compliance, and operational excellence. This position also emphasizes *mentorship, cross-functional collaboration*, and continual improvement through technology adoption, performance monitoring, and proactive issue resolution—ultimately ensuring 99.999% network reliability and future-ready infrastructure.
*Summarized Duties and Responsibilities: *
* Inspire and Lead: Leveraging your expertise to mentor and inspire the team.
* Technical Leadership: Implement new technologies, such as SR-v6 and BGP-LS to demonstrate value and encourage the team to stay up to date on current trends. Utilize your expertise in telecommunication networks, wireless networks, PON technology, and ISP networks to build and deliver a scalable network that provides high-speed fiber internet and enterprise services.
* Operational Management:
* Combine your operational experience in managing P&L, budgets, CapEx, vendor relationships, and team leadership with your technical skills to create and implement the strategic, long-term vision for client's Fiber network and develop the service offering roadmap.

* Strategic Planning and Leadership:
* Develop and implement a strategic vision for client's fiber network infrastructure and wireless networks.
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network engineers.
* Align network engineering initiatives with business objectives including network health, futureproof designs, and network management efforts.
* Work with our vendors and labs to deliver a best-in-class network architecture and performance.
* Implement practices that will ensure the enforcement and respect of engineering guidelines and best practices of network operations.
* Keep abreast of the different code revisions pertinent to the client's services from the customer premise to the core network and develop a code revision upgrade protocol.
* Enforce the documentation of the network design, the network configuration changes and the accounting of the logical resources such as IP addresses and service licenses.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
