The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Border Patrol Agent.
About the Role:
This position involves working as part of an elite team responsible for safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing national economic prosperity.
- Typical assignments include detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations,
- Detecting irregularities during inspections including vehicles or cargo at ports-of-entry or in areas between official ports-of-entry using infrared scopes during night operations,

- , and making sound judgments regarding enforcement actions.
Vacancy Requirements:
The following are required:
- One (1) year general work experience that demonstrates ability to take charge, make sound decisions, maintain composure in stressful situations,
- Learn regulations through classroom training; OR
- Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college university;
To be eligible for promotion you must complete 52 weeks in each grade level once selected.
Hiring process will not be referred if age over forty years old for applicants with no federal civilian law-enforcement previous service.
