About
Core Responsibilities:
• Server setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance
• Deployment pipelines and release management
• Monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
• Troubleshooting production issues and incident response
• Infrastructure scalability and security hardening
• Backup strategies and disaster recovery planning
• Continuous infrastructure improvement and DevOps consulting
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong DevOps mindset with proven experience in production environments
• WordPress & WooCommerce deployment, optimization, and scaling
• Sage (Roots) and Laravel-oriented workflows
• Server management: VPS, Cloud platforms, Linux administration
• Web servers: Nginx and/or Apache configuration & tuning
• CI/CD pipeline setup and automation
• Monitoring & logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar)
• Security best practices, backups, and infrastructure hardening
• Git-based workflows (GitHub / GitLab)
• Performance optimization at server and application level
Nice to Have:
• Containerization (Docker)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Ansible)
• CDN and caching strategies
• Experience with high-traffic WordPress environments
Communication:
• Fast and direct communication via Discord is required.
Engagement:
• Long-term collaboration
• Project-based with potential for ongoing monthly workload
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
