About
This is NOT a rebuild or new development project. Our senior developer is currently on holiday, and we need a skilled engineer who can quickly understand the codebase, identify issues, and provide a clear technical assessment.
Your main responsibility will be to analyze the current system, debug existing problems, and deliver structured documentation outlining what is completed, what needs improvement, and what remains to be done before the next development phase.
Responsibilities
- Review and understand an existing Laravel + MVP codebase
- Analyze backend architecture, database structure, and RESTful APIs
- Debug existing issues and identify performance or security risks
- Audit project structure, dependencies, and coding standards
- Evaluate PostgreSQL schema, queries, and data flow
- Provide a clear technical documentation/report including:
Current completed features
Pending features
Bugs and technical debt
- Suggested improvements and priorities
Frontend Tech stack
- (required)
- Strong CSS skills (Tailwind, CSS Modules, or similar)
Backend / Full-Stack
- PHP/Laravel (API integrations)
- PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Experience with REST or GraphQL
- Familiarity with modern authentication and deployment flows
