About
We are looking for a high-level mobile developer or small agency to build a Phase 1 MVP for a Social Commerce platform in the fashion industry. The app combines image-centric social interaction (similar to Instagram) with integrated e-commerce functionality. The goal is to allow users to communicate through images while having the ability to purchase featured items directly within the app.
Core Feature Requirements (Phase 1 MVP)
Social Feed: Image-based feed with high-performance scrolling, likes, and basic sharing.
E-commerce Integration: A "Single Seller" shop module including product catalogs, item details, and a shopping cart.
Secure Checkout: Integration with payment gateways (Stripe Connect/Apple Pay/Google Pay).
Image Tagging: Ability for the admin to tag specific products within a social post.
User Profiles: Basic profile creation, secure login (Social Auth), and order history.
Admin Dashboard: A web-based backend to manage inventory, upload photos, and track orders.
Technical Stack Preferences
Frontend: React Native or Flutter (Cross-platform iOS & Android).
Backend: , Python (Django/FastAPI), or Firebase.
Database: PostgreSQL or Firestore.
Cloud/Hosting: AWS or Google Cloud.
Project Scope & Timeline
Phase 1 Timeline: 3 to 5 months.
Development Model: Milestone-based delivery.
Phase 2 Potential: Long-term collaboration for scaling social features (DMs, Following, AI recommendations).
What We're Looking For
Proven experience building Commerce or Marketplace apps.
Strong understanding of UI/UX for the fashion/lifestyle niche.
Experience with secure payment processing and data encryption.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a Project Manager
Contract duration of more than 6 months.
