ShowCal helps friends coordinate concerts by syncing their Ticketmaster, AXS, DICE, and other tickets into a unified calendar that can be shared socially.
Role Overview
We are looking for an engineer to build integrations with major ticketing platforms. You will design the entire integrations layer—from OAuth flows to event normalization to periodic sync logic.
Responsibilities
- Implement integrations with Ticketmaster, AXS, DICE, Eventbrite, etc.
- Handle OAuth flows, token refresh, and webhooks
- Normalize event/ticket data from multiple providers
- Build a stable, scalable sync engine
- Work alongside founder to plan and ship features rapidly
Required Skills
- 3–7+ years backend development with TypeScript or Python)
- Strong experience integrating with REST APIs
- OAuth 2.0 + webhooks + pagination
- Database experience (PostgreSQL or MongoDB)
- Experience with background jobs / queues
Nice to Have
- Experience with ticketing/event APIs
- Experience building social or calendar-like applications
Contract: Part-time, flexible, remote
Duration: 2–3 months to start (extendable)
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
