About
You'll report into Technology and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Ops, Revenue, Finance, Leadership).
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate business questions into clear metrics and dashboards
Define and document metric logic (definitions, filters, grain, edge cases) and create a shared data glossary
Write high-quality SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations at the correct grain) to power reporting
Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports (Looker Studio preferred)
Validate results (spot checks, reconciliation, Google Sheets verification) and ensure consistency across reports
Create order from ambiguity: standardize definitions, reduce "multiple versions of truth," and improve trust in data
Communicate insights and explain data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
2–4+ years in an analyst / BI / reporting role (or equivalent demonstrated capability)
Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, correct grain, window functions, aggregations)
Strong experience building dashboards in a BI tool (Looker Studio preferred; Tableau/Power BI/Looker acceptable)
Experience gathering requirements, documenting metric definitions, and translating business questions into reporting
Strong written and verbal communication skills (able to present to non-technical stakeholders)
High attention to detail with a bias toward accuracy, clarity, and consistency
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Hands-on experience with GCP and BigQuery
Familiarity with modern ELT/ETL workflows (dbt, Airflow/Cloud Composer, Fivetran/Stitch, etc.)
Experience with revenue/ops systems (HubSpot, Shopify/eCommerce, ERP/finance tools, GA4)
Familiarity with data governance concepts (metric ownership, change control, documentation standards)
Tools & Environment
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Looker Studio (primary BI tool)
Likely: BigQuery, SQL, Google Sheets (validation), Slack, Jira/Asana
What Success Looks Like
