Role Overview
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who specializes in Meta ads and UGC-style Reels/TikToks. You will be responsible for transforming raw content into engaging, high-performing ads. The ideal candidate understands the nuances of direct-response marketing and knows how to balance creativity with performance.
Responsibilities
- Edit UGC videos, reels, and ad creatives for Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram).
- Create variations of ads for A/B testing (hooks, CTAs, captions, length).
- Add engaging text overlays, subtitles, animations, and transitions to increase retention.
- Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines while staying native to social platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative angles and storytelling approaches.
- Stay up-to-date with social trends, viral formats, and platform best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing short-form videos for Meta Ads, TikTok, or UGC campaigns.
- Strong portfolio showcasing ad creatives and social-first content.
- Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar).
- Understanding of performance marketing principles (hooks, storytelling, CTAs).
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and deliver multiple variations quickly.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and trend awareness.
Nice to Have
- Experience with graphic design and motion graphics.
- Knowledge of ad metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS) and how creative impacts performance.
- Experience working with DTC/e-commerce brands.
