About

As a Linux System Administrator, your role is to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our organization's IT environment. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and securing Linux-based systems. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues, monitor system performance, and collaborate with the team to integrate Linux-based systems with other systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, SuSE, CentOS) and associated software packages.
Set up, optimize, and troubleshoot web server software like Apache and Nginx.
Deploy, configure, and manage application server software such as Tomcat and PHP-FPM.
Administer, monitor, and optimize database systems and search engines such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
Implement and manage caching solutions like Redis.
Apply security updates and patches promptly.
Perform regular vulnerability assessments and implement necessary security measures.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to the IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot application-related issues.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend/implement improvements.
Optimize application deployments in collaboration with the development team.
Act as the first point of contact for infrastructure-related emergencies.
Develop and maintain documentation for system administration procedures and infrastructure.
Requirements:
Education: IV or higher level of education.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Linux System Administrator.
Technical Competencies:
Linux Server Administration (Ubuntu, SuSE, CentOS)
Cloud computing experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
Networking concepts and protocols knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and Firewalls)
Web server software (Apache, Nginx)
Application server software (Tomcat, PHP-FPM)
Database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Search engines (Elasticsearch)
Caching solutions (Redis)
Backup and recovery processes, system security best practices
CMS platforms
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Linux System Administration, DevOps, Linux, MySQL, NGINX, System Administration, CI/CD, Docker, Ubuntu, System Monitoring
