About

I'm looking for an experienced Google Ads specialist to take ownership of search campaign optimization for two local contractor brands, with potential to expand to additional accounts over time:
1) Epoxy / polyurea floor coatings installer (Dallas–Fort Worth, USA)
2) Painting + epoxy contractor (Wisconsin, USA)
These are local, service-based businesses with high-ticket projects. High-intent traffic is critical. Lead quality and booked jobs matter more than raw volume.
One campaign is receiving limited traffic but no conversions yet. The other has no impressions for weeks despite showing as "eligible," and requires structured diagnosis.
I am not looking for surface-level tweaks. I'm looking for someone who can diagnose issues, prioritize correctly, and improve performance systematically.
Initial Phase – Paid Audit (Fixed Fee)
• Full Google Ads account audit
• Diagnosis of zero-impression issue
• Keyword restructuring plan (match types and intent alignment)
• Negative keyword framework
• Bidding strategy evaluation
• Geo targeting review
• Conversion tracking strategy proposal
• Landing page alignment review
• Clear written report with prioritized action steps
Trial Phase – 30-Day Optimization Period
Following the audit, we will implement agreed-upon changes and enter a short optimization period. During this phase, we are looking for:
• Restoration of impressions where missing
• Improved search term quality
• Clean campaign structure
• Verified tracking accuracy
• Initial qualified lead flow (based on traffic volume)
If we see measurable improvements in structure, tracking, and qualified lead performance, this will transition into an ongoing part-time role.
Ongoing Part-Time Management (If Strong Fit)
• Weekly search term analysis and pruning
• Ongoing negative sculpting
• Bid and budget optimization
• Ad copy testing tied directly to keyword intent
• Conversion monitoring and optimization
• Landing page CRO recommendations
• Monthly reporting with clear strategic priorities

• ~$81 spend

What I'm Looking For
• Demonstrated experience with local contractor or home services campaigns
• Strong understanding of high-intent search behavior
• Clear diagnostic process (not checklist optimization)
• Focus on improving booked jobs, not vanity metrics
• Ability to explain reasoning clearly and justify recommendations

Engagement Structure
We will begin with a fixed-fee audit. If the fit is strong, this will move into a 30-day optimization trial. Successful performance during the trial will lead to an ongoing part-time management role (approximately 5–10 hours per week to start). Performance bonuses may be discussed based on qualified lead results.
Potential Areas of Expansion
Once search performance is stable and converting, we may expand into Google Display retargeting, YouTube remarketing, Meta retargeting, branded search protection, competitor campaigns, and broader funnel optimization. I am looking for someone who can advise when expansion is strategically justified — not someone who pushes additional channels prematurely.
Contract duration of more than 6 months.
