Coordinator, Production

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday

Shift: 6:30am-finish
Salary: $21/hour (paid on weekly basis)

Summary/About the Role

As a Production Coordinator , you will be essential to our daily business operations, bridging the gap between departments to ensure smooth communication and a consistent workflow. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining production efficiency, troubleshooting operational challenges, and serving as a final quality check to ensure our customers receive exactly what they requested.

Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do
  • Production Oversight: Conduct work-in-progress (WIP) counts and manage excess product processing to ensure adequate inventory for daily shipments.

  • Performance Troubleshooting: Maximize daily output by ensuring equipment, cuts, and weights are properly calibrated to meet yield targets.

  • Cross-Department Coordination: Extract orders and liaise between various departments, including Pricing, QA, Product Development, Purchasing, and Sales, to align on material updates and product changes.

  • Quality Control & Development: Perform final inspections on sample products to ensure they meet specific customer specifications before delivery.

  • Inventory Management: Perform raw material checks to verify that production receives the correct volume of materials from vendors.

  • Administrative Support: Assist with tracking sample orders and completing documentation related to labor costs and new listing forms (NLF).

  • Team Leadership: Instruct and check the work of others to maintain high-quality results.

Required Qualifications/Skills
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience: 0–2 years of full-time related work experience.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Applications (Gmail, Sheets, Docs) and Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word).

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to deliver presentations and represent the department at minor functions.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot production issues, manage product substitutions, and reduce processing costs while maintaining high yields.

  • Physical Ability: Must be able to perform medium-to-heavy work, including lifting up to 50–100 lbs occasionally.

  • Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while working near mechanical moving parts.
