About

We are seeking a strategic, creative and highly skilled communicator to join our Canada Technology organization.  As the Manager, Technology Strategic Communications & Change Enablement, you will operate within the technology organization to shape and deliver clear, insight-led narratives that support leadership decision-making and enterprise alignment. Drawing on strategy documents, KPIs, and other data sources, you will synthesize complex inputs into concise, executive-ready communications that clarify priorities, progress, and outcomes.
You will partner closely with senior technology leaders to develop high-impact deliverables including leadership presentations, town halls, communications, and training materials. These outputs translate technology strategy and performance into compelling stories that drive understanding, engagement, and adoption across diverse customer groups.
Combining structured thinking with strong storytelling, this role involves working across communications, enablement, and change support. You will bring a consulting approach to problem-solving, message framing, and tailoring messages for specific audiences in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Position Responsibilities: 
Insight Synthesis & Narrative Development

  • Analyze data from KPIs, strategy documents, financial or operational reports, and collaborator interviews to extract meaningful insights and trends.
  • Synthesize complex technology and business information into clear, executive ready narratives that drive informed decision making.
  • Develop structured storylines and messaging frameworks that articulate priorities, progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Ensure all narratives are grounded in evidence and insight, balancing quantitative and qualitative inputs.

Strategic Change Enablement 

  • Develop and complete a comprehensive internal change enablement strategy aligned with Canada Technology priorities.
  • Translate complex business programs and technical strategies into clear, inspiring narratives for diverse internal audiences.
  • Create and deploy communications that support strategy execution, transformation, and business engagement.
  • Craft written stories, visual summaries, dashboards, and presentations articulating the value Canada Technology provides to the business.

Executive Strategic Communications  

  • Partner with Canada CIO to shape and deliver high impact executive messages, speeches, presentations, and strategic artifacts.
  • Provide insight-led counsel on communication risks, opportunities, and change implications. 

Internal Events & Experience Design

  • Lead the planning, content development, and delivery of key internal events including Canada Technology Town Halls, Director+ Forums, strategic offsite and other internal events. 
  • Design engaging formats and experiences that promote connection, clarity, and cultural alignment.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership
Build and maintain strong relationships across Technology and business segments to gather insights and align messaging.   
Serve as liaison between Canada Technology and internal communications teams to ensure cohesive narrative alignment.  
Leverage company-wide employee initiatives and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to enhance awareness and engagement across the organization.  

Required Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years of experience in narrative development, strategic communications, change enablement, transformation messaging or related fields. 
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, advise, and support senior leaders in shaping strategic communications.
  • Advanced ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, identifying key insights and translating them into compelling executive-ready narratives.
  • Ability to quickly understand and translate technology strategies, transformation programs, and performance metrics for non-technical audiences.  
  • Experience developing narratives across formats: written materials, visual frameworks, executive decks, dashboards, and event content.
  • Strong ability to navigate complex collaborator environments and work effectively within a global matrix organization.
  • Exceptional organization, project management, and prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • A consulting approach with strong structured thinking, problem-solving, and communication framing skills.
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to manage confidential information.
  • A collaborative, flexible team player eager to support broader team initiatives.
  • Preference for candidates with strong eye for business in IT or technology-focused environments.

  • Preference for individuals with exceptional degree of business sense in IT function.

Salary range is expected to be between

$85,300.00 CAD - $135,300.00 CAD
