Technical Sales Representative
Location: Val D'or, QC (Travel up to 60%)

We currently have an opening for a Technical Sales Representative . In this role, you will contribute to the success of our Canadian team by supporting customers, promoting ground support solutions, and driving business growth. You will conduct underground pull tests and audits, provide technical training, investigate product issues, and identify new opportunities to strengthen Sandvik's presence in the mining sector.

What you will be doing:


• Conduct underground pull tests, installation audits, and prepare accurate, detailed reports
• Implement and adhere to the annual technical sales program in line with strategic goals
• Deliver training programs for end users to enhance installation skills and product performance
• Arrange technical presentations and product demonstrations for customers
• Investigate non‑conformances on manufactured and procured products, identify root causes, and support corrective actions
• Identify prospective customers, assess needs, and develop new business opportunities
• Participate in setting business plan objectives, aligning marketing initiatives and sales activities
• Recognize and pursue sales opportunities for existing and emerging ground support products
• Support competitive analysis to understand market positioning, product advantages, and risks
• Develop and execute action plans for the assigned territory
• Conduct regular mine site visits to meet with end users, engineers, superintendents, and purchasing teams
• Gather customer insights to support forecasting, budgeting, and innovative product solutions
• Research, develop, and maintain lists of potential customers
• Build and maintain strong industry relationships to drive sales
• Monitor sales activities using reports and analytics to address variances in deliveries, financials, and forecasts
• Prepare customer quotes, support order entry, and work within ERP systems as required
• Provide monthly reporting on business activity


• Ensure all activities align with Sandvik Values, policies, and procedures


• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn
• Identify issues proactively and contribute to problem‑solving
• Work effectively both independently and within a team

What you will bring along:


• Bilingual (French & English)


• Ability to work remote if needed


• Post‑secondary education in mining engineering, mining technology, operations, or business administration is considered an asset
• 0–3 years of experience in a relevant discipline (mining or industry experience is an asset)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to complete work accurately and thoroughly
• Adaptability to change and ability to perform under pressure
• Strong accountability, independence, and commitment to deadlines
• Excellent customer relations abilities
• Mechanically inclined, able to understand technical concepts
• Ability to travel up to 60% within the regional territory
• Ability to work underground at mine sites; underground experience considered an asset
• Ability to train end users on ground support installation methods
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new software/ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prepare detailed technical reports and professional correspondence

• Attend required health and safety training sessions
• Identify and report hazards promptly
• Work safely and responsibly in all environments, including underground mine sites
• Wear all required PPE as mandated for each location
