Compensation:

• Salary $90,000-$95,000 depending on experience
• 100% Employer Paid Health Care Benefits Package

• After first full year of employment, 3 weeks' vacation

About the Position

The Afternoon Shift Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the direct maintenance activities in a health care laundry plant (facility and equipment). This position requires afternoon shift hours work along with an on-call ability in leading a trades team that is operational 96 hours per week.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 12:00am and on call weekend and Statutory holiday shifts on a rotational basis.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a Licensed Electrician and/or Industrial Mechanical Millwright
• Have 5 years of experience in supervisory leadership in a manufacturing/processing facility in the maintenance department preferably a unionized environment.
• Have the ability to understand how people work with machines, and work together with others, to get the job done. Have a commitment to continuously learn and engage in educational development
• Have effective leadership training and use it to develop others
• Have excellent communication, organization and time management skills; ability to multi-task
