As a Data Analyst within the automotive sector, you'll play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that fuel smarter decisions across sales, service, inventory, and operations. You will bridge the gap between raw data and business strategy — building advanced reports, developing interactive dashboards in React, and leveraging high-level Excel and Google Sheets expertise to optimize performance and drive measurable results.

Location: 2200 Eagle Street North, Cambridge 

Compensation: $75,000-$90,000 per year

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to vehicle sales, service performance, inventory, supply chain, and customer behavior.
  • Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards for leadership and operational teams.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and performance gaps to support strategic decisions.
  • Provide actionable insights on KPIs such as vehicle turnover rate, gross margin, parts performance, service efficiency, and customer retention.
  • Translate business requirements into data visualizations and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate APIs and data sources into reporting systems.
  • Analyze dealership or OEM performance metrics.
  • Monitor inventory aging, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting.
  • Support forecasting for sales targets and operational capacity.
  • Evaluate marketing campaign performance and customer acquisition metrics.


 What You Bring to the Table: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst role (automotive industry experience preferred).
  • Strong experience with:
    • React (JavaScript/TypeScript) for dashboard or web-based tool development
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel
    • Google Sheets (advanced functions & automation)
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization best practices.
  • Experience handling large datasets and building automated reporting systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
