We are seeking an Estimating (Quotation) Specialist to join our Inside Sales team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely customer quotations by reviewing technical data, drawings, and specifications. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing or technical environment—preferably within the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industry - and demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and customer focus.

On-the-job training is available for candidates who demonstrate the aptitude and willingness to learn how to interpret fabrication drawings, Gerber files, and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

  • Prepare detailed and accurate quotations in response to customer RFQs

  • Ensure quotes align with established pricing strategies and internal costing data

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries to support on-time quote delivery and customer satisfaction

  • Communicate with customers to clarify specifications, lead times, and technical requirements as needed

  • Maintain and update customer profiles and records within internal systems

  • Collaborate with Production Planning, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Engineering to validate quotation inputs

  • Support Customer Service and Pre-Engineering teams as required

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quotation tools, processes, and workflows

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, or product documentation

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook; technical aptitude with internal systems

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive, collaborative team-oriented mindset

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as required for the role

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or College Diploma, or equivalent technical experience

  • Experience interpreting technical drawings or specifications required

  • Previous experience in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing is considered an asset
