Customs and Border Protection Officer
Job Description As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will be part of the federal law enforcement team responsible for safeguarding our nation's borders. Your primary duties will include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
Your role will involve facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel while preventing illicit activity. You will conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to determine their admissibility into the United States.
In addition to these core responsibilities, you may also participate in various programs aimed at enhancing economic prosperity within the country. This includes working closely with international partners to prevent human trafficking, illegal entry of prohibited goods, drug smuggling, among other criminal activities.
The position requires excellent communication skills as well as physical fitness levels capable enough for handling field work conditions including harsh weather elements during times when needed most!
