Hello Speech-Language Pathologists!
We are partnering with a supportive elementary team in Eden Prairie to welcome a clinician into a medical leave coverage role serving early childhood students. This school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position offers a clearly defined service model, strong clinical support, and a structured academic-year assignment. Our placements prioritize sustainability, collaboration, and thoughtful caseload planning so you can focus on meaningful work with students.
*Position Overview*
* Pay Rate: $48–$61/hour
* Start Date: ASAP (support in place for a smooth onboarding)
* Schedule: Full-time, split between two elementary buildings
* Assignment Length: Through June 10 (end of school year) with potential to extend
This Speech-Language Pathologist role is available for an ASAP start, with nearby on-site peers and a full-time SLP lead providing support throughout the assignment.
*Caseload & Setting Details*
* Student Population: Early Childhood (primarily 4-year-olds)
* Buildings: Two elementary sites (approximately 2.5 days per building)
* Team Structure: Each building also has an SLP supporting K–5, offering close collaboration
* Service Model: 3:1 model, with one week per month dedicated to paperwork, assessments, and Medicaid billing
* Primary Needs: Typical early childhood speech and language needs; evaluation-heavy caseload
* Student Day: Aligned to the elementary school schedule
* Community: Diverse families, including Spanish- and Somali-speaking households
* Workspace: School-based therapy spaces available

* Provide school-based speech and language services to early childhood students
* Conduct evaluations and collaborate on IEP development
* Partner closely with educators, related services, and families
* Deliver services aligned to the 3:1 model with protected documentation time
* Support a positive, inclusive learning environment
*What You’ll Bring* (Qualifications)
* Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Speech-Language Pathology License
* PELSB (Education) License for school-based practice
* Experience or interest in early childhood populations
* Strong collaboration and communication skills
* Comfort with evaluations and IEPs in a school-based setting
