Sales Development Representative (SDR) Level I
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at CharacterStrong, you are an essential contributor to our Sales Team. In partnership with Sales Representatives, you help fuel growth by nurturing early-stage leads, responding to inquiries, and creating new opportunities within your territory. Your work directly supports revenue goals by ensuring every lead receives timely, value-driven engagement. Through consistent follow-up, clear communication, and documentation, as well as strong relationship-building, you help schools and districts understand how CharacterStrong's solutions can meet their needs. In addition to driving pipeline, you bring a proactive mindset and comfort with technology to streamline workflows, strengthen team collaboration, and advance CharacterStrong's mission of supporting student and educator well-being. Pipeline Generation & Outreach
Conduct timely follow-up on all quote requests within your territory and call leads to maximize conversion opportunities for CharacterStrong's products and services. Meet or exceed activity expectations, including daily/weekly call volume, emails, sequences, and meeting-set metrics.
Sales Enablement & Strategy
Work with reps in your territory to develop and execute strategies that meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. Support targeted campaigns, event follow-ups, and conference promotion to increase lead volume and accelerate deals.
Customer Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with district stakeholders by understanding needs and providing meaningful solutions. Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting of pipeline progression.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Bring forward ideas that enhance team performance and contribute to company growth during weekly, quarterly, and annual meetings. Assist with special projects such as event-driven outreach, web-lead engagement, and leadership-initiated communication efforts.

Strong relationship-building skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Self-starter who is comfortable working independently The ability to both call and email prospective customers on a daily basis. Extremely organized and consistent with strong attention to detail. Thrives in an upbeat, fast-paced environment. Produces timely, quality results and consistently asks the question, "How can I make this 1% better?" Bachelor's degree preferred. Preferred: Efficient with CRM's, Google and Microsoft Suite applications, and other business apps like: Slack, Zoom, Notion, HubSpot Benefits
