Job Posting Join our dynamic team as an Inbound Materials Handler where you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate inventory management. We are looking for dedicated individuals to handle incoming products with precision while adhering to best practices in a safe and efficient manner. Essential Job Functions: Adhere to safety standards, actively identifying and addressing any unsafe practices. Unload merchandise from trailers, containers, and trucks efficiently. Verify skid or box counts against Proof of Delivery documentation and report any discrepancies. Organize and properly place skids on the dock, removing packing lists and documenting Vendor Compliance issues as needed. Receive various types of products, including vendor shipments, store returns, and warehouse transfers. Efficiently store products in designated locations, utilizing powered equipment when necessary to reach storage heights. Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring batch corrections are completed for inventory release. Follow procedures to retrieve products from reserve locations and maintain organized storage practices. Experienced team members may serve as trainers, guiding new hires through the training program and ensuring accurate documentation. Perform any additional tasks as assigned to support operational efficiency. Skills/Education/Experience: Required: Basic computer skills. Successful completion of a standardized company test. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Quick and accurate reading of numerical and alphabetical characters. Desired: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Experience in warehouse operations with familiarity in alphanumeric or RF directed stocking. Knowledge of automotive parts. Advanced computer skills. Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, is highly desired.
