About
As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders and ensuring the security of its citizens. Your primary responsibilities will include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws; facilitating legitimate trade and travel; conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances; determining admissibility for entry into the United States; and preventing illicit activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforcing laws related to importing/exporting merchandise to/from the US
- Detaining/suspending violators using proper law enforcement methods
- Conducting interviews for information gathering purposes
