Job Description
The U.S. Border Patrol's vital mission is to safeguard America's borders and promote national security by preventing illegal crossings.
- Detecting suspicious activity at or near border locations, following rigorous protocols to ensure public safety.
- Apprehending aliens who enter the country illegally in accordance with established procedures.
- Carefully handling evidence related to crimes committed during operations.
- Maintaining surveillance on suspects using covert positions equipped with advanced technology such as infrared scopes during night operations.
The ideal candidate has prior experience working within law enforcement or military units where they have honed their skills,
displaying qualities such as sound judgment when dealing with weapons,
a polite demeanor while interacting with people,
hasty decision-making abilities based on information rapidly analyzed;preserving relationships through networks of informants to improve crime-solving capabilities.
