• Safeguard U.S. borders while facilitating legitimate trade and travel
• Detect suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods

Manage regulations relating to importing/exporting goods between U.S.and foreign countries.

To qualify for this GS-9 grade level position applicants need at least one year of specialized experience or two years graduate education as defined below: "Specialized experience refers too previous employment involving enforcing customs laws/Regulations plus arresting/detaining suspect violators utilizing various techniques , such such intelligence analysis behavioral observation ensuring risk assessment determining appropriate course action taken."
