Elite Border Security Specialist

As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to safeguard the American people by protecting our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.

• Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions.

Job Requirements:

• 1 year general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge, make sound decisions in stressful situations; learn regulations through classroom training or on-the-job instruction;
• Bachelor’s degree OR combination of education & experience (calculated using resume & transcripts).
