Duties and Responsibilities:
- Detect suspects and question them about potential immigration violations
- Inspect documents and belongings to verify citizenship status or detect smuggling activities
- Analyze tracks, marks, or other physical evidence related to illegal entry attempts
_Education: Bachelor's degree or one year general work experience demonstrating decision-making skills under pressure; ability to learn regulations through classroom training OR on-the-job instruction combined with gathering concise information through questioning

'Career advancement requires completion of six months at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy for intensive training in specialized courses such as driver safety
