To excel in this position, you must possess exceptional skills in law enforcement, surveillance, and communication. You should have a strong understanding of immigration laws and regulations as well as excellent analytical abilities to identify patterns and trends.

• Detecting suspicious activity at or near the border using advanced technology such as infrared scopes during night operations;


• Cross-referencing identification documents with database information to verify citizenship or violation status;


• Inspecting vehicles, cargo containers, luggage bags etc., thoroughly for hidden contraband goods.
