**Border Patrol Agent**

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws while inspecting documents and possessions for citizenship or violations.


• Preventing and apprehending aliens at or near the borders through surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.


• Interpreting physical evidence such as tracks, marks, or other signs indicating illegal entry of persons or contraband.

1. You must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in duties such as performing searches on detained individuals and their belongings for weapons or contraband. You may also have worked with law enforcement officials to identify violators under state federal immigration laws).
