We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Border Protection Officer.

The primary responsibility of this position will be to enforce laws and regulations related to customs, immigration, and agriculture. You will also be responsible for facilitating trade and travel while ensuring national security.  This involves conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances,  making rapid judgments regarding admissibility,  and utilizing intelligence techniques to identify potential threats.  A successful candidate must have excellent communication skills,  strong analytical thinking capabilities, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

1. A minimum one year experience equivalent to at least GS-7 level that includes detaining suspected violators with proper law enforcement methods;
2. ​Enforcing import/export regulations using relevant knowledge;
   
 
3. Ideal candidates should utilize behavior analysis techniques for identifying potential threats;
 
4. Candidates may conduct interviews during investigations;
