Border Protection Specialist

• We are seeking a highly skilled individual to enforce customs, immigration and agriculture laws and regulations.
• This role requires strong analytical skills in determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States;
• The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances as well as facilitating legitimate trade and travel;
  by ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures, identifying non-compliance issues,
  and taking appropriate action within established guidelines.

  Main Responsibilities:
  
  
  
  • Enforcing customs regulations; including controlling the movement of people, goods
    as well as preventing human trafficking,
  
  
  • Determining individual eligibility for entry into the US,
    avoiding unnecessary delays or disruptions
    by using problem-solving techniques such as prioritizing tasks effectively
    among other responsibilities including managing difficult situations diplomatically.
