The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is hiring full-time, entry-level Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) for a rewarding career in law enforcement.

As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be part of our 60,000 workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. You will be responsible for detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
You will also prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations. Additionally, you may interpret physical evidence such as tracks marks to determine illegal entry of persons or contraband.
