About the Job
The job entails performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and evidence. You will also be responsible for apprehending violators of state or federal laws and utilizing various forms of complex technology to track illegal operations.
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws
- Preventing and apprehending aliens at or near borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess one year of specialized experience performing duties such as leading investigations into fraud, contraband activity, threats to national security; developing contact networks with informants etc.
