Border Security Officer

Protect America's borders and communities by working as a Border Patrol Agent with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

• Detect, question, and apprehend individuals suspected of violating immigration laws while inspecting documents and personal items for citizenship or law violations


• Pursue undocumented non-citizens, smugglers, and contraband at or near international borders through covert surveillance using infrared scopes during nighttime operations


• Analyze physical evidence such as tracks, marks, to identify illegal entry points for people or contraband


• Conduct farm checks, building inspections traffic stops city patrols transportation checks in addition patrolling international boundaries coastal waterways via various government vehicles
