About
As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will be part of our workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders. You will enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Enforce laws related to international trade, commerce, and migration.
- Facilitate lawful movement of individuals across U.S. borders while detecting smuggling activities.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate for this position must possess excellent communication skills as well as physical stamina required for regular inspections.
You should also have strong analytical capabilities along with an ability to apply complex federal regulations in real-world scenarios.
Additionally experience working with law enforcement or military is advantageous although not mandatory.
