Customs Enforcement Specialist

• This position involves safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity through customs, immigration, and agriculture laws enforcement.
• Key responsibilities include enforcing regulations regarding importing/exporting merchandise and making rapid judgments on admissibility for entry into the United States.

To be eligible for this position you must have had primary U.S. residency for at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years. In addition:

• A minimum one year specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level that includes detaining violators using proper law enforcement methods or utilizing intelligence techniques to identify threats;
• Ability to make accurate decisions related to regulation application or person's eligibility for entering/residing/departing from the United States; OR Master's degree (or higher), LL.B., J.D., or two years progressively higher-level graduate education leading towards such degrees;
