This role offers a unique opportunity to serve as a Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO), working in an elite team of highly trained professionals who make up part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce. As CBPOs are responsible for safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity.

• Detect and prevent violations of federal laws; enforces customs regulations relating to importing/exporting goods across U.S. borders.
• Conduct interviews with individuals traveling across international borders in order to assess their eligibility for entry into the country.
  
• Facilitate trade by inspecting cargo shipments while preventing smuggling activities that pose threats to national security.
