As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders, enforcing customs laws, and facilitating legitimate trade. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a highly trained team of law enforcement professionals who are committed to protecting American interests.
This position requires specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in areas such as detaining suspected violators, enforcing import/export regulations, utilizing intelligence techniques for risk assessments, and conducting interviews for gaining information from suspects. You may also be eligible for an exception service Veterans Recruitment Appointment (VRA). The age restriction does not apply if you are Veterans' Preference eligible.
