This position requires the ability to detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
- Detecting potential violators at border crossings
- Inspecting documents and personal belongings for citizenship status verification
- A background in law enforcement or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with federal regulations regarding immigration policies
Ensuring public safety by maintaining order, enforcing customs regulations,
and preventing smuggling activities. Maintaining vigilant watch over national borders,
discovering undocumented noncitizens attempting to breach entry points.
Regularly inspect travelers' documentation & possessions- detecting concealed items, verifying identity papers - in accordance w/immigration acts } ,
understanding legislation impacting work visa applications ",
