- Salary Range: $25 – 35 per hour
- Full Time
- Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 6:00am – 6:30pm Shift premiums apply
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter specializing in trailers and heavy-duty equipment. This role involves preparing and applying high-quality industrial coatings to new and refurbished trailers, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and a professional finish.
If you take pride in clean work, consistent results, and working in an industrial shop environment — we want you on our team. Key Responsibilities
- Apply primers, acrylic enamel, polyurethane, base coat, clear coat and other types of paint using paint spray guns.
- Mask and tape for multi-tone work or to protect areas that do not require painting.
- Mix paint, blend and match colors.
- Paint parts as per production schedule to the required specifications using the established fluid and air pressure for gun.
- Check and measure parts before and after paint application to ensure quality specifications are achieve.
- Frequent use and operation of Forklift & Yard Truck.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possession of a BC or Interprovincial journeyman designation as an Industrial Painter or Automotive Painter an asset
- 1+ years of work experience in a paint, fabrication / manufacturing industry
- Previous experience as spray painter and/or paint technician in an industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
- Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and working in a shop environment
