About the role
As a Receptionist at DMCL, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and team members, helping create a welcoming and professional experience at our Vancouver office. You will work closely alongside two other receptionists as part of a collaborative front-line team that supports the smooth day-to-day operations of the firm.
This role is ideal for someone who is team-oriented, enthusiastic, and excited to be part of a busy professional environment. You will play an important role in ensuring our office runs efficiently by managing incoming calls, greeting clients, coordinating meeting spaces, and providing administrative support to staff as needed. Your positive attitude, strong communication skills, and willingness to jump in and help will make a meaningful difference to both our clients and our internal teams.
How you'll make a difference
- Answer, screen, and direct telephone calls;
- Meet and greet clients;
- Book and set up boardrooms for meetings and conferences;
- Scan and file documents according to company guidelines;
- Manage faxes, mail and courier services;
- Ensure the reception area, kitchen, stationery and filing areas are clean and tidy;
- Complete other office duties and special projects as required by staff.
Who you are
- Have previous experience in a client facing role;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Ability to manage time, and adhere to strict deadlines;
- A pro-active mindset with the ability to take initiative;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- High school diploma or equivalent is required;
- Experience in MS Office computer skills, including Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook is an asset.
